Good footage of perp getting what he deserved, from multiple angles

This was a year ago in the Bay Area, but the footage was just released. There won't be any protests over this, the dude clearly pulled a gun and pointed it at the cops. This happened right near my friend's house, so I'm at this intersection all the time.

Great video.
The only thing I would argue are those civilians from the U-Haul truck taking cover behind it. They weren’t hiding from the perpetrator, they were taking cover from all of the shots fired by police. I fricking hate when people add shite to the story to try and make an erroneous valid point.

Guy deserved to get shot waving the gun around at the police but I have two problems with the video.
1. The police continuing to pump bullets into the guy when he is laying down on the ground, which leads to #2.
2. Police put an awful lot of innocent people in danger with all the bullets flying around. Yes, the perp did the same but just because he was doing it don't make the police doing the same thing right.
Argument could be made that putting a bullet or two into him was acceptable risk to the innocent based upon the situation, but continuing to fire bullets into him while he was on the ground continued to jeopardize the public.
As was said, the people in the Uhaul weren't hiding from the perp, they were hiding from the police shooting towards them.

I’d imagine he could’ve had a variety of spasms.
Tend to agree that a shooting was justified, but what happened was a bit reckless. Also, if putting out video like this, I tend to think without comments about his past crimes is likely the better way.

Real life. This ain't the movies where someone gets shot and collapses dead. Unless you hit the golden triangle it takes a while to die from loss of blood. Also unless you luck up and severe the spinal column they can and will be able to move around and still have control of his body to a point.
The reason you keep firing until the threat is eliminated is because of what I mentioned above and the fact that he clearly still has access to his weapon.
