This. I live in north Dallas and go to Choctaw in Durant to get my gambling in. It's alot closer (1 hour vs. 2 1/2 - 3 hours) than Shreveport/Bossier, they're generous with comps, and last but most certainly not least, the clientele is 100x better

I’d imagine 80% of people staying there have comped rooms or on the corporate dime.
The other 20% are complete idiots.

You can probably fly to Vegas and get a room for cheaper from nearly anywhere in the country

Is that booking straight through Golden nugget or a travel site? You can almost always get it cheaper through travelocity, vio, etc.

You must be booking through a 3rd party app. On GN website it is only charging 80. in taxes and fees.

The only thing trashier than paying to stay at a casino not in Vegas is pulling an RV to Lake Charles and sleeping in the parking lot of a casino.
Played golf there once and saw a couple of those. At what point does one look in the mirror and realize they need to make some life changes….
