I hate this place with a fricking passion. Ive only gone once, with some dudes at work. The chicken was not warm and it was a bunch of nasty people and the idea of them hoovering over the food just didn't sit well with me.

I've never been to one but always thought it was awesome someone managed to sneak 'corral' in the name. Not because I didn't want to. Years ago they ran an ad on TV for all you can eat prime rib, which is like getting a bj for fifteen bucks, but from a not super passable tranny. I'd probably say 'what the hell, it's only $15 and no one will know' if I was shitfaced enough and by myself. But I've just never lived near one.

When one opened on my hometown when I was a child, I went ape sh*t upon discovering pepperonis where part of the salad bar.

Ryan’s was always the better buffet especially with the hot fresh butter rolls on the table waiting for you.

I’ll never understand why people go to buffets. Other than the selection of different foods it’s just way too much. I don’t even like eating seconds at my regular meal times. I don’t like feeling full

Only went a few times to our local one and always saw at least one German roach roaming around. If you see them in the dining area they are for sure back where the food is stored.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Golden Corral in general but I tend to try and avoid all you can eat places when possible because it usually ends in me stuffing myself and feeling like arse for the rest of the day

It's not gourmet but if you're hungry, anyone will eat there without hesitation. You're kidding yourself if you think Applebee's cooks from scratch, they serve the same food. The people who shite on GC eat at McDonald's

"quality" of food is not the issue for most people. It is more about the buffet style of serving and the nasty people that put their hands and germs all over the food.

I have no desire to eat food that was left out from the previous day and used the next day.

It's already bad enough with Mexican restraunts.
