Less than A gets nothing

We do it mafia style.

A's and B's count as "protection" money. Anything less and it's

I was incentivized to not screw up in class for the fear of what I wouldn’t be able to do was far greater than the reward I got for A’s.

Good grades are expected, not rewarded. Bad grades result in consequences... things/events taken away, etc... praise is enough for good grades.

$5 per A
$0 per B
-$5 per C

No formula for less because that will never happen.

Should be more like 1mb of data per A . They will care way more about that than 20bucks

WTF??? I don’t pay shite for my kid doing what he should do and what I’ve always done. He don’t need a trophy for doing what he should do.

My daughter has one job, to bring me A’s. If she cannot bring me my A’s, then she is failing at her job and she will be given chores. My agreement with her is simple:

She never has to work while in school. She can continue her education until she is satisfied. Once in college she is allowed one B. If she gets a second B, she is responsible for her tuition and living expenses. As long as she gets A’s, she can go to school as long as she wants and I will take care of tuition and living expenses/spending money.

My 7th grader came home with straight A’s today for the first time.
He’s asking for a phone since he’s been the only kid in his grade without one.
Too bad he’s going to have to wait for Christmas

They get paid with a better life growing up than I had, which is what parents should strive for, every generation gets better. I don’t have to put pressure or reward my oldest she’s striving to be better than me and I have no doubt she will.

Sounds good but not real world. Children see school as work.
Rewarding them as a job would, teaches them that work is rewarding. My X did her doctorate on this subject.

Well I would’ve been fricked on this one the 2nd week of freshman year.

College is a big change for some kids out there man. C’s i would possibly agree with, but B’s? Lighten up
