I pay $0 for an A or B, anything below pays out an arse whipping.

Mine are 16 and 14, they’ve mostly been A & B students to this point.

Once in college she is allowed one B. If she gets a second B, she is responsible for her tuition and living expenses.

Bs are great in some of those weed out classes, bud.

College is a big change for some kids out there man. C’s i would possibly agree with, but B’s? Lighten up

frick no. Lightening up allows for subpar performance. If she gets two B’s on her report card, she can pay her own tuition and living expenses.

Enjoy mediocrity...

One of my EE instructors recommended getting Bs.

That's not fair. Some the smartest people I know, who are now doctors and such, didn't have 4.0s in college and it wasn't from a lack of trying. Asking for As is fine but if she has 2 B's are you really gonna cut her off?

I graduated from college. I know what it takes. There isn’t a class I ever took that I couldn’t get an A in if I applied myself. My child has gotten one B on a progress report, and never got anything other than A’s on her report cards. I may know a thing or two about my child and how to prepare her for success...

Yeah the $15,000 a year we pay for tuition is what they get. And that number goes up next year.

I don’t think my job/life choices are mediocre

Fair is where you put a ribbon on a pig. Life isn’t fair. I have a daughter and that means if she is to be taken seriously, then she has to do 2x the work.

This shite right here is why we are becoming soft as baby shite. My daughter is involved with social, athletic, spiritual, and civic organizations and activities while getting straight A’s. Keep your kid’s face stuck in an iPad and enjoy him/her living at home into his/her 30s.

Sweet. You are that kind of parent.

Hopefully she doesn’t go off the deep end from an overly demanding parent like Todd Marinovich.

Not at all, but your grades were. My daughter is aiming for the top. It’s in her DNA and in her mentality. She wants to be the best.

Going rate for us was an arse whipping. Luckily the good report cards came with a get out of an arse whipping free card.

lulz, I think we are going to be okay. She gets pissed if I don’t push her. I try to ease off the gas and she asks me to push her harder.
