They showed the splashdown live on the jumbotron at the NY Mets game tonight.

Anyone else think this is just bizarre watching these boats get close then pull away from the capsule. You’d think they would attach themselves to it somehow.

So did the front porch have a hole in it? They were spreading it out in the water, but now it's gone?
I think it has two elements. They inflate it under the capsule first.

I think so, too. It looks pretty big in the videos.

So gotta build another.
Also two hours is the requirement they said to get the astronauts out. Thoughts on Why two hours? They didn’t specify.

We might go back to the moon again before they get these heroes out of the water.

No way. Risk damage while boats bobbing. Need to maintain integrity for analysis

LOL, Elon might land on Mars before the front porch gets erected

You've got to think this will be addressed before A4. If they can't do it, step aside and let the SpaceX recovery team do it.

1.5hrs for 40 US Navy divers to get a fricking raft attached to this has been the most painful thing of this entire mission

I think most of that wait was the comm issues. That seems to have delayed everything.

Of course Mets fans don’t care. Yankee Stadium would’ve been rocking like THE JUDGE just went yard.

This process needs some efficiency improvement. I get wanting to recover everything exactly as it landed but this is ridiculous. Just screams government waste.
