Kind of mindblowing that this capsule was on the far side of the moon beaming video to earth 4 days ago and now the crew is bobbing in the Pacific because of phone issues.

LPDs have a well deck.. They can sink the deck, open the back doors, and float it on in.
ETA: By sink the deck I mean fill it with water. They can launch HCAC hovercraft and seadoos and whatnot from within the ship that way.

There we go. I knew it had a well deck but I thought it was mostly to deploy hovercraft.

I've got a smoker which has a door that won't open when it cools off after being hot.

Looking at where they landed, I know why it's taking them so long. They landed a few miles south of the border, so Border Patrol is having to scan the ship for illegals. That Canadian is fricked.
