They know the truck won't last 5 years, with their power train. Anyone would be a fool to purchase one.

I can’t say I’ve seen a GMC made in the past 15 years that rolled over 300k. Most of the time they are pavement princesses

Which is why I have 0% interest.

If they do if for 180 months then I’m in.

How much are they discounting at that rate vs a 5% interest rate financing?

the 2022 SLT i bought is a pos:
- the A/C has broke 3 times
- the plugs and plug wires burnt out before 90k miles
- the transmission locked up at <5k miles because the actuator shite the bed
- gotta add at least 2 qts of oil between oil changes since this is “normal”
it does ride great and has all the power i need but it will be a cold day in hell before i buy another G(gotta’) M(mechanic) C(comming)

2017 Silverado 1500 tranny failed at 60k!

Considering a GMC SLT or Ram Laramie. Every manufacturer has had problems. Even the Toyotas are having issues. Crazy times.

I bought a used 4wd Titan SV. Love the 5.6 Endurance. Using 5w30 Valvoline Restore and Protect.

My 2000 Silverado went 298,000 with the original power train and HVAC.
Over 18 years I replaced the starter, alternator, some of the engine gaskets from slow oil leaks but that was when she was in the 200,000+ mile range.
Biggest expense was replacing the ball joints.
Of course I bought a new Silverado 2018 model. I've got 120K on it right now. Only repair has been A/C coil leak/replacement.
Are y'all driving them too hard?
I pull shite with mine all the time. Nothing heavy, just boats and sxs trailers.
Some of you guys need to get right with God if you're having bad luck with Chevy Silverados

What year, model, and mileage? Not saying your lying, but most post 09 models I’ve seen are shite in comparison

I think I may have been lucky? 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD gas now has 224k and I have had 0 mechanical issues so far.

It’s also no payments until January.
From a guy (me) with marketing experience in a similar industry, this is a move of desperation.
