Good for her for having her own opinions and standing by them. The SJW pussies are bullies and turn into big cry babies when they dont get their way.

you think this shite only happens to black people? My arse would get pulled over by the same cop when I was younger because of the vehicle I drove, and I am white as snow. You assholes don't own profiling.

Years ago, I met Gladys Knight. She is very cool and very nice. I'm really glad that she is singing at the Super Bowl.

If we stand for/represent something, that something should also hold in place the values we hold dear and hope represent us. I mean that makes sense right? Kap felt/feels that it's kinda lopsided.

As a black man myself, i love america. A huge melting pot. But things racially can be better.

First, thank you for having a discussion and not coming and blasting every other opinion as racist.

I think very few people think that racism is a settled issue in today's age. We all know there are still people out there that are racists. my daily interaction with them is very minimal, and i live in a diverse town.

like with the Gillett issue, nobody in large part is sitting around saying "men are OK to subjugate, harass, or rape women," i don't think anybody en masse is saying "black people should be overpoliced and brutalized by cops."

people of any sex or color don't like being accused for the worst actors of people that look like them.

quote:

I think some people are missing the reason as towards why Kap knelt to began with. It wasn't to say "Frick american and the flag and etc" or "Screw the vets and their sacrifices in the past/present". It was for the social unjustices that were occurring at that time and still occur today when they do.

My personal rub with Kap is that his keystone mark of protests was Michael Brown. It has been proven emphatically that Michael Brown was a person of interest in a strong arm robbery and then attacked a police officer when he got stopped. We can argue that the police acted wrongly, but a jury cleared him of that.

Also of note, he began his protests while Obama was in office and while Eric Holder was SPECIFICALLY holding law enforcement's feet to the fire over racial profiling. There were literally changes being made at the time of his protests.

Now Kap if Kap was saying "that's not enough, I want more" then that's fine, but I don't believe that was his attitude.

I think we should all strive to be better, but I feel like his protest was misguided at that point in time.

I love it when I see clown activists saying things are worse now than ever. The older generation must want to smack them on the side of the head everytime they hear that garbage.

Millionaire black folks. President of the United State. Most inner cities totally run by black folks. But things are worse today than ever.

And...?

The thread was about Gladys Knight and CK, hence my comment about “black” people.

The Left will be disappointed in Gladys's decision to remain being an Uncle Tom, bowing and fetching, hat in hand, before the White Supremacist Racist USA Society that continues to this day to Enslave People of Color.

Some people love to claim Kaep has sacrificed his career for his cause, which is bullshite. He wasn't a very good quarterback and probably wouldn't be in the league today had he never knelt.

Additionally, Nike would have never give him that $100 million contract(I think that's the number) had he never knelt. I will give him credit because reportedly he has given a lot money for his cause, but nobody should be crying for him because his finances greatly improved over this fiasco.

Gladys grew up in an age where she learned what injustice is all about. I applaud her for calling him out.

FWIW, I to have been pulled over because the police wanted to know what I was doing. One during college in Tucson because my girlfriend and I were had a tiff while driving around in circles near her house. The other time driving late at night Natchez. It happens and I treated them with respect and they in turn, did the same for me.

Pulled over 4 times for being "White" in a so called drug area, or parts of city.

All 4 times i was dropping off a fellow football team mate at home after night game.

Was cordial, answered every question, and they after checking the car left us to go. Never cried about it.

Gladys performed on the masked singer and it was awesome. (Pretty sure she’s the bee)

She still has “it.” I actually got goosebumps.

She seems to be a really wonderful person who loves life.

I’m pleased to see her say this.

There was a time when this was true, but not anymore. At this time, it’s trendy to be racist towards white men. In the justice system, it’s the defendant’s money, not race, which makes the most difference.
