Gladys Knight essentially tells Kaepernick to STFU

Gladys Knight says she not only disagrees with Colin Kaepernick using the national anthem as a protest, but she also says she's been in the game a lot longer than him when it comes to the fight for social justice.
Gladys doubled down on her decision to sing the anthem at the upcoming Super Bowl, saying, "I have been in the forefront of this battle longer than most of those voicing their opinions to win the right to sing our country's Anthem on a stage as large as the Super Bowl LIII."
She goes on ... "It is unfortunate that our National Anthem has been dragged into this debate when the distinctive senses of the National Anthem and fighting for justice should each stand alone."

Old school black folk don't care for these new millennial pussies who have "struggles and injustices"

Gladys is clearly racist.

She's just an Uncle Tom

That’s because old school black folks actually do know what it’s like to be held down and have experienced true racism beyond just prejudice. Not that prejudice is right but there’s a big difference between being prejudiced and racist.

There is a place for honoring the greatest country in the history of planet Earth, and there is a place to honor bed-wetting SJW'ism, intentional racial division, Cultural Marxism, Identity Politics, Attention-whoring, and being a really shitty human being who has no gratitude for your many blessings that place you in the upper .00000000000000001 % of human beings that have ever lived.

No shite....and I like it.
I am pretty sure Kaepernick never had to sit on the back of a bus, eat his lunch in a separate area from the white folk, drink water from a different fountain from the white folk, etc. Gladys probably had all of those things happen to her.
I know several black folks who work their arse off to make a good living who wish Kaepernick would just frick off. Glad to see an old school star like Gladys Knight make her statement.

Might need to clear that up some gumbo. Today's black folk don't choose their circumstances. I didn't choose mine and i've gotten pulled over because I drive a nice car before.
Do some african americans place themselves in certain situations that may cause certain things to happen to them, hell yeah. But i promise you that's not the case for all

She told him that there was a midnight train leaving for Georgia, and that her arse was gonna be on it to sing her freakin heart out!!

It probably has something to do with having first-hand experience of actual struggles & injustice.

Breaking news - black people today struggle against and experience injustice.

I think some people are missing the reason as towards why Kap knelt to began with. It wasn't to say "Frick american and the flag and etc" or "Screw the vets and their sacrifices in the past/present". It was for the social unjustices that were occurring at that time and still occur today when they do.
We live in a nation that's about justice for all. And there have been/are times in which that justice seems to be one sided. Someone else might get a slap on the wrist but for a black man/person its a whole different ball game. Even for other people of color, mainly Hispanics.
If we stand for/represent something, that something should also hold in place the values we hold dear and hope represent us. I mean that makes sense right? Kap felt/feels that it's kinda lopsided.
As a black man myself, i love america. A huge melting pot. But things racially can be better.

No, it was about the false narrative of white cops killing men bc they're black.
