She's dead. Killed in a car crash less than a year after we graduated high school. Tore me up. Still tears me up. She was a best friend I'd had since childhood. Sweetest girl you ever met.

That was a loooooonnnnnggg time ago but the last I heard she had been married 3 times and had 6 kids over the years.
She also stayed thin between running after the kids and being married to guys who had a hard-scrabble life with menial jobs.
I saw her older sister about 15 years ago working as a manager at a Lowes store in N.O. and she said her sister looked 20 years older than her age and didn't have an original tooth in her head.
So, not well is my assumption.........
