Someone once took a full swing with a putter at a putt-putt course and the head flew off and hit my sister in her shin. Shattered her shin. My dad about strangled this kid that swung the club. She was maybe 10-12 years old at the time. We're lucky it didn't hit her in the head.

I had a dumb friend hit a tree with a golf club, not out of anger, just to break it since it was old a shitty. Somehow the club snapped back when it broke and went through his hand.

Heard that at LSU a guy got mad and threw a club. It hit the golf cart and snapped, broke end went through his friends neck and killed him

I had a friend of mine when we were younger got made after a bad swing one time and started spinning around in a circle to get speed up to launch his club in the air. He let go of it, and it went sideways across my body and snapped it two, one side went in front of me and one behind.
I thought it had broken my arm, but I was fine after about 20 minutes of laying on the ground. Didn't finish my round.
If it had hit me with the club head, it might have killed me. Overall I was pretty lucky and my friend stopped throwing clubs when we played together after that.
