Mine says I’m 30.8%

I’m 6’2 and 235 lbs.

But I’m really around 15%. This doesn’t mean anything for people that workout. We’ll always show up as obese category when we put in our weight.

28.3 but im sure this thread will be honest and truthful

and how many are going to come on here and claim BMI doesnt count for them beause they lifted weights 2 decades ago or that they would look like skeletor if they got down to recommended weight even though they were the recommended weight when they lifted 2 decades ago

and holy word salad

I’ll take my cardiologist’s word over a message board try-hard. He says I’m at a good weight so I’m at a good weight. And you have no idea what’s going on with my heart or what the issue is with it. I’ll say this much on the matter, my heart issues are not lifestyle related.

unless you are roided out, i promise you are not around 15% bodyfat.

go get an inbody scand and prove it if you want people to believe you have the genetics of a pro athlete.

gtfo with that shite

all the ones claiming it doesnt take into account muscle mass.....

less than 10% of the US population does any form of resistance training. And prolly less than half actually train with enough intensity and volume to actually put on significant amounts of muscle mass.

So many of you severly over estimate how easy it is to add true skeltal muscle mass and also way way over estimate what aging does to your metabolism.

where do you live? you can google it. just google

dexa scan near me
bodpod scan near me
inbody scan near me

the poster used inbody which is good but the least accurate of the 3.

oh and dont be shocked when it tells you a lot higher than you think.

A pic of his Greek god body would be quicker, cheaper, and sexier.

BMI is bullshite. I hate it because it says I’m 34 which is severe obese. This is me back in the spring before I lost 15 lbs. Totally unhealthily obese

You are obese.

Unless you are body builder-esque in physique or play for an NFL team, you are obese.

how tall and what weight? and being honest you are above 20% bodyfat based on your face....which in a historical sense is obese and you are prolly closer to 25% in that picture or more.

Bodybuilders are NOT healthy. Your heart doesn't know the difference between muscle and fat as it pumps blood through your body, it works just as hard to pump blood through 235 lb. Fatties as a muscled 235 lb.

I'm skeptical of the accuracy of your data input. How tall are you? At 6', you'd have to be 250 to hit 34 BMI.

Its kinda simple. If you can see all 6 abbs, you are under 15%. 2-4 abs, 15-20%. None, you fat.

24.9, want to drop it to just under 23 but my only comment from my doctor is get your heart rate up more often and take more Vitamin D

quote:

Nearly 1 in 3 adults (30.7%) are overweight.2
More than 2 in 5 adults (42.4%) have obesity.2
About 1 in 11 adults (9.2%) have severe obesity.2

I question these numbers. That is saying 82.3% of the US population is above the normal weight numbers. Which leave 17.7% at or below normal. I know we're a fat arse country, but that 82+% sounds high
