Jars of ‘salsa’ were really gallons of liquid meth, Georgia authorities say

A duo faces trafficking charges after more than 100 jars of “salsa” were found at a southwest Georgia home, state authorities said. What appeared to be containers of the spicy chip dip actually hid nearly 8 gallons of liquid methamphetamine, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The agency’s Southwestern Regional Drug Enforcement Office, with help from Clinch County sheriff’s deputies and other law enforcement agencies, seized the drugs April 19 during a search of a home on Travis Lane in Homerville. Authorities said the haul was enough to create roughly 55 pounds of crystal meth.

It always amazes me what hard drugs do to people. The place this was found was on a shitty little road with mainly single wides and crappy little houses but yet they have what is the equivalent of a quarter-million dollars in cash sitting in some jars. It is like driving by a beat up trailer with a brand new 911 Turbo S sitting in front of it, the owner clearly has "different" priorities.

Will this affect their eligibility to keep their starting spots on the UGA football team?

liquid methamphetamine

Didn't know they made it in liquid form. I assume it's easier to inject this way?

it can't be actual meth becuase meth itself is water soluible.. the second it touches water it evaparates. it must be something that when compunded with something or something like that it will create meth.

SouthWest Georgia.
Close to Jacksonville.

Those two things can't be true at the same time.

It doesn't say, "SouthWest Georgia." It says, "South Georgia" (Article is misquoted in OP).

It also doesn't say, "close to Jacksonville." It says, "100 miles from Jacksonville."
