It’s so intelligent to bring politics into a community business. Brilliant move by the old man. Gestures like this are the reason the rest of the country doesn’t respect Louisiana.

The stupid is amazing.
China is a country. Chinese is an ethnic and national classification. It is not a race.
Unless its the Spanish Influenza or West Nile Virus.
Anyone who has a modicum of knowledge how China has handled, mishandled and deceived the world has no business whatsoever defending frivolous notions that calling it China Virus is xenophobic.
What those "enlightened" imbeciles are doing is akin to having a mass murderer having supporters defending his character.

I have no problem with it, but it seems pretty dumb for a business to do at a time when consumers are so easily offended. Maybe it’s a calculated risk.

I agree that the people most upset by it are likely not regulars there, but it doesn’t seem smart to intentionally alienate any potential customers when times are tough.

This isn't really political though. The virus was caused by (and came from) China. It's 100% their fault, and 100% their virus. I don't see how anybody on either side of the political spectrum could say otherwise.
