i think it's going to be worse

a lot of millennials are inheriting shite loads of wealth from boomer parents instead of earning it

a lot of them are likely already spoiled from having wealthy boomer parents

My concern is not with generations, but with political and ideological divisions.

Boomers are going down as the worst generation in existence. They were handed everything and literally said frick them kids when it was time to set up future generations. They fricked EVERYONE that came after them.

Barely a mention of Gen X....we get a pass?

There's no way my parents (boomers) would live the life they live if they were born in a different generation given their education and jobs.

Their SS and Medicare benefits are pretty rich. And they both had jobs that had decent pensions.

It’s almost as if there are forces out there promoting animosity among different classes of the population and using that as a means to come to power and later take their wealth.

Nah…that would never happen. This is America. People would never be stupid enough to support taking money from others by force because they’ve been manipulated to think they’re “owed” something.

I always find generation talk so stupid. it’s the ultimate generalization to look at everyone born between two arbitrary dates the same.

older people will complain about “kids these days”, younger people will complain about how older people screwed up society, and time marches on. there’s a great quote from true detective s1 about this:

“You know, throughout history, I bet every old man probably said the same thing. And old men die, and the world keeps spinnin'."

Generational Hate

It’s such a lazy, low IQ argument. Every single generation produces great people and produces those you wouldn’t spit on if they were on fire.

But, it’s proven to be an evidently useful tool for those who prescribe to the Leftist tactic of pitting “groups” against one another and continue to sow additional seeds of resentment and discord.

Divide and conquer.

This one always sounds great in principle buy in practicality not so much:

There are 2.2 MM 18 year olds in the country every year and our military struggles to meet current goal of signing up approximately 150,000 (total new recruits across all branches of service) to voluntarily sign up for service each year.

We already have by far the largest most dominant military in the world. How bloated will our services become to absorb 2.1 MM privates that were drafted into service.

We just think we have a MIC today this would cause our current military budget to go up exponentially!

I bet I know more boomets than you, nome of them say all that.

A lot of 'em think Trump is wacky at times, but would still vote for him over any Democrat, just like anyone with any common sense.

Yep its no longer a shiny hook; it's at the point that its fairly obvious that the puppeteers is pushing a communist agenda from within.

Instead of mandatory service we should have mandatory reading of Animal Farm, 1984, and a Brave New world because that is where we are headed.

All this stuff is stupid. But I hope you are able to live in a stable country like I did. Best of luck.

Hi grandpa.

No, we love our kids and there is no way in hell they are serving in this military.
