Off topic, but those 2 for $5 chicken sandwiches at RaceTrac are fricking delicious. Taste almost as good as a Chick Fil-A sandwich.

The stripes stores in TX usually have some pretty decent breakfast tacos
Yup. It’s not too hard when there’s just a few ingredients. Get a good tortilla, scramble some egg, fry some bacon. They even chop the bacon up and mix it in.

shite, go to one of the stores heading to Geismar at 4am. Damn good biscuits at most of them.

It’s still there. I stopped in there about one month ago for a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit. We had to wait about five minutes because they were making fresh biscuits. It had been a while since I had one of them but damm there good

C'mon, tell me the hidden gems of gas station breakfasts you baws have tried....
WaWa gas stations are the only ones that have legit good stuff. Hoagies, breakfast burritos, and coffee. About the only thing that made living near the shithole that is Philadelphia bearable.

I grew up eating Vines breakfast almost every morning before school. 10 years later I still haven’t found a better breakfast than that gas station

Gene Cox in West Monroe has some good arse biscuits. Chicken, egg and cheese, sausage or bacon, can’t go wrong with any of them.

Which one? There's one Joor at Lovett or Joor at Core...

Do Rudy's gas stations count? if so, they have the best breakfast tacos in the world, buc-ee's included.

The Village in Watson (where the Walgreens is now) fed my children breakfast every school day. Gator corner fed my children breakfast every weekend. They seemed to have turned out fine. But they are all fancy and eat brunch as adults. They were raised on gas station biscuits though. How they escaped without being fat is beyond me.

It appears that our Texas brethren are replacing the biscuits with tortillas. For certain things that makes sense but if I’m eating sausage patties, smoked sausage, or bacon, I want a biscuit.
biscuits are obviously better, but you gotta sit down and take your time and enjoy. tacos are better on the go.

WaWa gas stations are the only ones that have legit good stuff.
Wat? You’ve obviously never been to South Texas. Buccees, Prasek’s, Rudy’s, and Laredo Taco(Stripes) put WaWa to shame.

Simpsons across from the bus station on Florida, as someone said earlier: perfect cheese grits, good bacon, good biscuit.
B&Bs (RIP) in Denham Springs: thick smoky bacon, huge biscuit. They moved on up to downtown BR after the flood, sadly for Denham
Quik Stop in Amite: good pork chop, good chicken biscuit. I have also been known to have a meat pie for breakfast.
San Benito, Texas - gas station/convenience store across from the high school: BEST chorizo, bean, cheese and egg tacos ever. I have spent 20 years trying to recreate, but my griddle isnt dirty and worn enough.
Gas station food can completely rock!
