Do you think he’ll start or end the show with this abortion of a song?

I liked Garth when I was young. When I listen to those songs now I cringe. They are really shitty with his dumb fake shite country twang. How more people don’t feel this way is beyond me.

The stadium seats 102,000 already right? Can't you get like 10,000 on the field if not double that?

There must be huge sections closed off or one endzone or something?

I think most people know that he faked it in country to make it big. I don't see him being as big as he is in other genres.

Some of his stuff is still good (Much too young…, one night a day). But I agree with you in principal. I always get a chuckle out of his proclamations of love for his first
wife Sandy (at that time). That shite didn’t
Last long.

But he’s a hell of an entertainer regardless.

His mass appeal was combining the stage presence of 80s rockers with just a little traditional sound mixed in and you have Garth Brooks.

George Strait was more impressive because he didn't change his sound that much which could have appealed to a broader audience. While apparently it worked out for him as he is still one of the best selling artists of all time.

Why are so many conservatives in the South supporting Garth after he played at Biden's inauguration?

Must be the same "Republicans" that didn't vote or voted for JBE because their guy didn't make the run-off in 2019.

Because many conservatives are actually cuckservatives.

He was born and raised in Yukon, OK then went to Okie state

I don’t think there was anything fake about him being country early in his career. As he aged he has become a sappy emo though

And did anyone notice BR Tourism Commission is subsidizing this show with $250k of taxpayer dollars? Who wants to bet the city negotiated themselves some sweet free tickets with that taxpayer money?

Yeah, that's BS

Traffic on gameday is filtered onto campus over hours and hours. After the game, it's filtered a bit as well with some leaving early, some staying late and so many people walking to and from the stadium.

This is going to be the traffic event of the century. Seriously...we're going to get on campus for like 8 am and just stay there until the concert, walk to north gate after the concert and then try to uber to the hotel once every bar is closed

He wanted to do rock at first but changed his mind as he would have a better chance in country. Fake or not it was a business decision.

I can't speak for all but I think some don't let politics bleed over into every aspect and action of their lives.

I think it sucks we've come to a point that its like that now on both sides..."oh he supported Trump....boycott his product" "oh he played at Biden's inauguration. BOYCOTT" What is wrong with people? fricking tribalism.

were you also one of the people that would get mad at athletes that would skip out on the WH visits "respect the president!!" but going to get mad over playing at a presidential inauguration?
