He is probably triggered by all of the hotels and restaurants in town having a good sales weekend because of this.

If I was a Garth fan and going to the concert I would tailgate before hand. Do Garth shows not have a lot or shakedown street where people sell t-shirts and grilled cheeses?

Has it been mentioned that the concert is April 30th...which is the same day as the first Saturday of Jazz Fest

Theres a baseball game scheduled for that day, right now at 2pm. if I had to guess, it will be moved to 11 am so we plan to hit that then just stay on campus

Not sure the reasoning for not putting it at midfield.

I was told it was because of the south end zone upper deck and the north end zone not having one... it made for better visuals for both sides to have it closer to the north end zone. Also allows supposedly for better field seats doing this way.

Why are so many conservatives in the South supporting Garth after he played at Biden's inauguration?

Must be the same "Republicans" that didn't vote or voted for JBE because their guy didn't make the run-off in 2019.

Stupid.

I voted for the Diaper and for Rispone.

I like Garth. I don't give AF about his politics or where else he plays. Many conservatives are not cancelling snowflake types like you are.

Traffic leaving gonna be bad,

102,231 is football capacity. If they sold 102K tickets I'm guessing total attendance will be higher because you know there's a couple thousand tickets given away.

So traffic will be like a huge sold out football game.

Should be no conflict. Any self respecting conservative shouldnt be going to either one if you read enough of this thread

I imagine it will be worse simply by the timeframe in which people will leave and arrive.

Imagine LSU vs UF at night but 75% of the people didnt get to campus until 5pm or later and nobody left early.

It’s going to be a shitshow. Good luck getting a hotel room or Air BnB between BR and Nola.

Already got three rooms off college drive at the Hampton Inn for under $150/night. Thanks for your concern.

Have fun at Jazz Fest, where parking is abundant, hotel rooms are easy to find and very inexpensive, everyone is a republican and crowds are never an issue

Nice. That’s a good deal given the circumstances….btw my posted wasn’t directed to just you.

Well if I go to Jazz Fest that weekend, I can ride my bike and sleep in my own bed. Crowds don’t bother me.

People watching and the food at Jazz Fest is better than watching the bands

Booked three rooms at the Comfort Suites by Tanger for the weekend. Will drive onto campus for the day.

BTW, anyone heard anything about parking/tailgating plan? Are they just going to use the same maps/protocols as an LSU football game?

We were thinking get to campus around lunchtime, eat at Chimes, and tailgate on campus a while until time to go to the show.

I think you'll have to wait to see what happens with the baseball game. Right now, it's schedule for 2pm and no way that can stay at that time with a concert for 7pm
