According to the country music superstar’s promoter, Brooks has sold 102,000 tickets for the April 30 show in Baton Rouge, making it one of the top two largest crowds ever for a North American stadium show. The record was set by a George Strait show in 2014 that drew 104,793 into the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Did this culture not learn their lesson from the Travis Scott concert?

As in get there earlier or find somewhere else to eat? Or both?

We are all staying in Gonzales for weekend so time isn't an issue.

but didnt they allow tailgating and campers in the camper lots for Bayou Fest? I've never been to Bayou Fest but I remember friends camping out and staying the whole weekend on campus like they would for a Saturday night game

Just don't understand the appeal of stadium concerts.

I’m surprised they did not sell more than 102,000. Didn’t they sell every seat in the stadium plus all the seats on the field?

They probably don't get to directly sell the suites and some other areas.

don't know how it's done at TS but typically suite owner's have the option to buy tickets to any event at the venue

Something tells me Garth Brooks would be a JBE voter.

Hank Jr., on the other hand…

Maybe people can separate politics from life. I know that's a strange concept in this place.

If I only supported artists that agreed with me politically I'd be living a pretty boring life.

More than half those people are just going to listen to 3 or 4 songs...1 particular song.

They did. And they were given the option to upgrade to bigger suites if those hadn't been gobbled up.
My friend did not upgrade and are keeping their usual suite. Thus I'm SOL and sitting in the East uppers now.
