How much you reckon a set of these are worth? I have my great-grandmother's set. My grandfather bought it for her as a gift with his last Army paycheck after he was discharged in 1945.

Best check, but I saw on a tv show that they go high dollar. More so for the bigger pieces.

That Michael Kors purse is very nice! Very great find, and you’ll get a very nice return on the $15.

I just saw a listing for one of the expensive princess diana beanie babies on the estate sale website you shared. Keep us updated on if the ones you found are valuable.

I doubt this is the $5000 beanie baby. The big one sells for $10-15

had that NFL pattern as a bed spread around 1978-79. That was the Sears special pattern.

Billy Cannon’s estate sale
quote:

$20 Canon Powershot
Wow! He had a camera named after him! Impressive...even if they did misspell his name!

quote:

1963 matching CA license plates

Billy Cannon was traded to the Oakland Raiders before the 1964 season so those plates were likely on his personal vehicle at the time.

quote:

Awesome vinyl Yankees bag

Cannon's son, Billy Cannon, Jr., was drafted in the third round of the 1980 Major League draft by the NY Yankees out of high school and he actually negotiated a contract with the Yankees.

However, other major league teams cried foul because Cannon, Sr. had told all teams that his son was going to play college football so don't bother drafting the kid. Other teams believed Cannon did that so that the Yankees could draft the boy since that was the only team the boy would be willing to sign with.

The baseball commissioner at the time, Bowie Kuhn, voided the Yankees' draft pick of Junior after concluding there were back-room agreements to mislead other teams between the Yankees and the Cannon family before the draft.

So Cannon, Jr. signed a football scholarship to play for Texas A&M.

It's possible the Yankees bag you bought might have been something the Yankees gave Cannon, Senior for helping them draft Junior.

(That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!)

Heads up on the MK purse. The stitching looks wrong on it so it could be a fake.

My big money makers are going to be the skates ($200?), the ink ($30 a box), the license plates, the Coleman lantern, and the books.

So what’s the trick with eBay? Do you spam an item marked up $10,000 everywhere, then randomly post the same item for $2,000 to make someone think they are getting a great deal to sell themselves for profit, when in reality the shite is worth $10?

I have been cleaning out my house of 30 years of stuff. I have about 8 sterling silver plated serving platters of all sizes. Is this stuff worth messing with? These come from my mil's house. I see them for about 10.00 a piece on eBay.

Sterling or silver plated? There’s no such thing as sterling silver plated. Sterling silver is .925 (or higher pure silver). Silver plated is junk
