Posted by theantiquetiger on 10/16/20 at 12:43 pm1812
Found a few cool things, but not a lot. Did go to Billy Cannon’s estate sale, but no LSU stuff.
Only things that came from Cannon’s house were the ice skates, Yankee bag, and aTm record.
$160 spent
$1 vintage NFL sleeping bag
$5 set of ninja sai
$2 Doc Marten boots (these were my bread and butter nearly 20 years ago when I first started)
$4 two vintage Fiesta Ware bowls
50¢ WII Hello Kitty
$3 Betsy Johnson purse
$5 Van high tops (my daughter grabbed them, her size)
$15 Michael Kors purse
$20 Canon Powershot
$5 Nikon Coolpix
50¢ one ugly arse shirt
$2 Head Titanium racquet
$1 Mickey cake pan
$2 1963 matching CA license plates
$2 MIB Coleman lantern
$2 Princess Diana Beanie Babies (is it a $5000 one?)
$14 seven 1st editions Dogman
$5 bag of costume jewelry
$2 bunch of Paw Patrol figures
$8 bag of Marvel characters
$8 1958 LSU NC glass
$1 gay arse record
$30 ice skates (this maybe my big hit, thanks Billy Cannon)
$12 Awesome vinyl Yankees bag
$1 digital photo frame
$1 set of steak knives
$2 $160 worth of ink
$1 bag of watches and 50¢ a per bag costume jewelry

Some costume jewelry can be valuable. For $5, I will risk it. Its costume jewelry, not Halloween jewelry

I would have jumped on the Dog Man books. My daughter loves them and those things are like 12 bucks a piece.

How much you reckon a set of these are worth? I have my great-grandmother's set. My grandfather bought it for her as a gift with his last Army paycheck after he was discharged in 1945.
I'm not looking to sell. Just curious.

Your house has to be filled to the ceiling with crap you will never use. Haha

That seems like the sort of thing that's more likely to be worth nothing than something.

That’s the fun, buy the bag, get home and go through it. One piece could be $100’s

I saw at least 30 pieces today. I know they have some value, but they don’t excite me.
