Since when does a student government resolution have any enforcement power?

It’s time for some people at Colleges and Universities across the land to have “tired of this bull shite” rallies and gatherings on campus grounds. Every damn day and night.

These 15 student assembly members watched us pour out our traumas and fears on the floor practically begging them to vote no, and finally send a message to the university that we can no longer allow these oppressive institutions to keep us down,” Chukwukere said at a rally last month.

Classical Liberals

These people and their philosophy have no relevance to American politics in 2020. Invoking their memories is a cop-out. It's a wishy-washy attempt to distance oneself from the sanctimonious extremes on both sides, in an effort to curry favor with some well-reasoned middle one imagines to comprise polite society.

The target you're aiming for doesn't exist, though. There are no Adam Smiths or John Lockes on your ballot. Grow a set, pick a side, and damn whichever other side you piss off in so doing.

Cornell

I’ve been on that campus. It was 1984 and I was 11 but my memory is of this swinging wooden bridge that spanned a deep gorge. The person leading the tour mentioned how many people/students jump annually from it. That was wild. Not sure if it’s still there though.

True story. I was impeached as President of my dorm...I was also the only white member (including the HRA/advisor.) Said I didn't do anything only months after I pushed to use funds to have a dorm cookout, institute a video game hardware/software borrowing plan, and had several pizza nights. I wasn't even informed of the meeting...I got back from visiting my girlfriend and stumbled into it after an 8 hour drive back to Starkville. Eventually the Head RA found some BS to refer to the Dean and I was talked into giving the fight up by a fellow Midwesterner who at the time was an assistant in the office. So this shite doesn't just happen in the Ivy League.

Oh and the prick who replaced me had just so happened to transfer to the dorm weeks earlier. Half those guys were good guys...the other half was basically what Chris Rock talks about.

Someone like Rand Paul is much closer than anyone even remotely libertarian leaning on the left.

If you lay out the stances of Classical Liberalism to any member of the current Democratic Party though, that person would be called right wing.
No one ever claimed that there were any true Classical Liberals in the modern Democrat Party, either. They'd be called right-wing by most of the modern Republican Party, too.

Racist, Misogynistic Harassment Strikes Cornell S.A. Members After Disarmament Resolution Gains Traction Among Right-Wing Groups

quote:

On Thursday, the Young America’s Foundation — on the heels of a report by the Washington Free Beacon earlier this week — highlighted three individuals in the Cornell Student Assembly in a story that offered commentary alongside audio from the Nov. 19 disarmament vote that roiled campus. The YAF used racist language and stereotypes, and singled out only Cat Huang ’21, Moriah Adeghe ’21 and Uche Chukwukere ’21, all of whom are members of marginalized groups. Huang is of Taiwanese descent, and Adeghe and Chukwukere are both Black.

Why would you guys post such an evil and hateful article?

People with this amount of free time aren’t majoring in engineering. That’s for sure.
