I thought the consensus in Hollywood was that you must use the proper race, gender, body type, age, etc or you were doing the wrong to whatever intersectional community the character belonged to.

It still exists next to Egypt, just under the dirt / sand these days. I think now it would be where Egypt stopped all the way across North Africa to the Atlantic.
