Take a hose and spray the frozen pipes.

If you got frozen pipes where to you get water for the hose?

But no hot water toward the back of the house farthest away from the water heater. Thoughts?

No water at all or just water thats unheated?

He said that the hot water pipe was frozen. So he still had water.

Agree. Whether metal or pvc go buy a 3 pack pair of hand warmers. Put them on top of the pipe starting close to edge of house and put one every 12-18” working away from edge. If you can wrap a rag or towel around warmer and pipe that is best. Everything will be thawed out in a few hours without you laying under the house trying to thaw out ice you can’t see with a hair dryer. This is a $4 fix and it works while you are in the house watching games today.

Brilliant. I’m heading to Lowe’s now. Thank you

It was - 4 degrees at my house in NW Oklahoma this morning. Went up to the barn where I had left the sink running yesterday and the damn thing still froze.

Yes. Pee on the pipes while laying on your back in the crawl space.

It’s in a barn, too much work when it’s just going to get dirty again very soon.

And some of the dumb arse Oters said the other day it didn’t matter with the hot water lines not requiring a drip ...

My crawl space is always rather mild. We had zero degrees this morning and it was probably 45 under there. It's like the house makes a heat blanket. Duct work is under house as well

I usually wake up around 230 and run out to the shop, bust the ice out and run everything full blast for a few minutes. Put it back on drip and run back inside. Repeat in the AM

I'm paranoid about busting pipes.

I doubt that sink has ever seen food.
Its used to wash dirt off his boots.
