I've lived in Bucktown for 15 years. Cannot recall water levels remotely approaching these (aside from Ida, when we got TF). Rain has subsided, but winds still blowing, fairly fiercely.

I live a block from the Lake (2" to go before water intrusion), but my friend/neighbor lives on the corner of W. Esp. (water already in her residence). I can confirm Pontiff pumps are not currently operational.

Life and limb...safe. But, insane water levels for a C1/2.

Lastly, God bless the information providers in here, and God damn the idiotioc, foolish, shite-posting, excrement-worshipping buffoons flooding the thread with floating garbage.

Peace.

The actual track basically met in the middle of the NHC and the KatzGraf track. So neither won. The storm is very east loaded. But the circulation didn’t come close to New Orleans.

I said this a while ago. No one "wins" they are all essentially "wrong". Anyone beating their chests over is just foolish.

We put like $55k into our backyard and for some stupid reason, I left two pines

Haha I know where you are now. We ride around in my side by side (during hunting offseason) and I’ve noticed your addition. I always tell my wife how nice it looks. We recently did something similar right before Ida

Broadmoor

I was wondering about trees, as you guys seem to be getting hit unusually hard with power outages tonight.

For flooding, probably Thibodaux, river parishes and Jefferson.

For wind, probably Houma and south of it.

Rob Perillo isn’t Fox 8 you dipshit

I know who Rob Perillo is and I watched him hype the GRAF on Twitter for 2 days, including as it took it south of Houma and New Orleans and into Mississippi. Check his Twitter.

No one owes him an apology.

Yes. I tried texting him and it didn’t go through. Thought his phone might have died

I’ll try him again tomorrow.

I can’t imagine they were even close to Gustav. In Dutchtown I probably could have gotten away with not moving the patio furniture tonight. For Gustav, trampolines from 4 houses down were flying over my fence and I had 2 windows blown out from debris

Getting a gust or two here in Franklinton. Think I’ll just go to bed. Good night and good luck.
