It has flickered several times, but yes it is actually still on. The generator kicked on but is back off

Does entergy work in the dark. Winds in River Parishes should be under 30 by midnight except for a gust.

They’ll start scouting areas as soon as the wind is safe to do so. I’ll bet a lot of the issues are simple fuses and reclosers that are easy to fix.

It's the worst it's been in Ponchatoula, live not too far from the high school. It's blowing steady out there

Damn neighbors tree just took out our carport and laying on both vehicles. Does anyone know if homeowners covers the vehicles or if you go through car insurance?

You’d think after an uncontrollable natural disaster occurring you’d put your ego aside. Men are flawed creatures

The actual track basically met in the middle of the NHC and the KatzGraf track. So neither won. The storm is very east loaded. But the circulation didn’t come close to New Orleans.

If possible try and go through your auto insurance for cars bc premiums and deductibles change and stuff for “hurricane” coverage for your home owners policy

Knowing insurance companies, homeowners will tell you they don't cover the vehicles and auto will tell you because it hit the carport first it's not their problem

Yep. Have about 10 more that need to go. Wasn’t concerned but most of the pines around my house in other yards have disappeared over the years leaving mint exposed. Not the best setup with tropical systems.

Just saw firetruck lights in back of weldon park. Still there flashing on SW corner of it.

Hope no fire after I saw the fuses blow that way

NHC has the center by the mouth of Blind River NW of LaPlace. I don’t see how that’s really possible on radar

I was wondering the same thing. And MSY still reporting wind from the SE. How can they have SE winds with the center of circulation to the WNW?

Was tree already dead? If so that fall on the homeowner of the tree - if not then act of God and it gets dicey. Talk to your agent.
