There is a Facebook post in the old Metairie happenings group about water getting into houses at Sena and West Esplanade.

I’m along I12 and was supposed to be in the eastern most part of the THC cone. The center is still south of me but my wind is already out of the north. In which direction should that tell us the center is going to pass me?

Starting to get toasty in south BR. Couple flickers

Definitely dodged a bullet in south BR. That path from a couple of days ago that ran right up Staring and Essen would have wrecked this area.

It is just now settling down with wind gusts even though the rain has been gone for over 2 hours. I know it is slowly weakening but you will probably get gusts in the 40-55 range for a while after rain clears.

Meraux is fine. Still have power. Rain and wind but seems like we were far enough east to avoid bad stuff
