FYI for the Houma folks, if you have a generator hooked up to your natural gas line, there is an apparent issue with gas flow. Family member in Houma says multiple homes having the same issues with their homes generators and it's related to the gas flow.

Alright Northshore peeps. It’s our turn now. Feels like it’s always a night time thing. Hope everyone is safe and your power stays on!

Finally lost power at 715 after going in and out for 3 hours.
There is still a lot of wind on SE side. Almost seems a little stronger overall than the edge of the northeast and east side earlier.

Let’s all be honest This storm aint shite.
Doubt the guy with the tree through his wall, the church with its roof ripped off, the shrimpers who lost their boats in Dulac, and the people who flooded agree. Perspective is important. Stop being childish.

WBRZ Dr. Josh Eachus giving hazards Dos and DON’Ts after the storm like Fire Marshall Bill. “Don’t walk around abandon buildings because there might be a gas leak and your lighter might accidentally go off”.

This Brandon guy on WAFB... Is he 12? I thought the kid with braces on WBRZ was bad.
I remember hearing a Brandon Lashbrook or something like that on the radio for weather updates and he sounded like he was in middle school. Maybe the same guy

Man, power is so far and above better than it was 15 years ago. In 2004 with a storm like this we'd have been out of power a long time ago and been out for 3 days. Still got it right now.

Weather Channel sends the women to Baton Rouge and Gulfport, but the men to Houma, Thibodaux and Nola

Thanks for the explanation. Buddy of mine is in this business. I think he told me that when it does the “going off for 15 seconds then comes back on” means it’s doing a good job.
