Would suspect if this thing has any wind there's going to be a lot of uprooted trees with how soggy it is on the ground from the past week straight of rain.
Fresh take man, haven’t heard this one yet

Hunters picking up some pretty good SFMR for this early on.

Would you just rub some dirt on your hurt vagina and stop the passive-aggressive whining?

I would kind of favor the slower consolidation but the general rule of thumb is to give less weight to the hurricane models until a center forms
Rules of thumb exist for a reason, but when the model(s) are doing what I think makes more sense, I give it more weight personally.

18z Spaghetti models still west of the operational runs
I'll take that

Long term power outages from so many toppled trees due to the soggy ground.
The 100 mile/hr winds didn't help either
shite sucked. 3 weeks at my place without power. I couch surfed the whole time.

We lost power for a little over 2 weeks with Gustav, good times…

Interesting they say “northwestern Gulf coast”
How far east along the Louisiana coast does that imply?

A pretty significant uptick in stronger members on the 12z ensembles.
Posted on 9/8/24 at 2:50 pm to Mr Roboto
NHC favoring the ensembles which are more west I reckon

Have you seen the 12z EPS ensembles Rds? I can’t find them

TVCN which is what the NHC uses for forecast track has landfall in on the TX side of the border. Big difference in the operational runs

Notable uptick in eastern and stronger members

Are the latest tracks shifting more to the west ?

What are the landfall timing predictions for this stupid thing? Any idea how this will effect air travel? I need to change my flight situation.
I am trying to get home from California with a flight currently scheduled for Wednesday evening am I better off trying to get back Tuesday night or Wednesday morning?
Before anyone says "stay where you are" I'd like to be home to help my family not watching from another state and praying theyre ok while i cant do anything.
I hate hurricane season so fricking much.
