Interesting they say “northwestern Gulf coast”
How far east along the Louisiana coast does that imply?
I think that is just their way of basically ruling out a MS, AL, FL landfall. LA/TX is the favored bullseye.

Ida got rid of my tree. Problem was it went through my house with me in it.

Tuesday would definitely be better than Wednesday.

Should get a PTC advisory from the NHC at 4pm which would come with a forecast track

Are the latest tracks shifting more to the west ?
The spaghetti models have been shifting west all day but the Euro and GFS both show Vermillion Bay.
No center yet is probably messing with all of the models.

Same here, but I wasn’t home. I was at work in Houma.
And my neighbor got rid of her row of pine trees along the property line.
Now just have to watch out with no wind breaks, my new roof could be a sitting duck.

A few months later after the tree cutters business slowed down a bit, we had 16 big trees which could reach our house if they fell cut down.

I swear there’s a freaking hurricane magnet right to the east of the TX/LA state line. Every time!

If this thing hits anywhere in LA, will the homeowners insurance market south of I-10 just completely collapse?
