Has Destroya scheduled a press conference now that NOLA is in play or is she too busy robbing the city blind.

I want you to explain to me how it gets to Mississippi without going through LA at this point?

I’m not saying the parish needs to hand out these necessities. They can help! They need to get with the distibritors long before to make a plan! Along with other entities!

They should probably have self-reliance but the parishes usually rely on the National Guard and/or GOSEP for distributing essentials after a storm, water, ice, MREs, gas if it's bad enough.

I wonder if they'll let everyone buy new generators on FEMA's dime again.

If I were to drive from Hammond to Norco tomorrow (Wed) at 3 pm, will I die?

You're unlikely to die regardless, but having a bad time is a combination of bad luck and other variables
...

Are you in a truck?
What specific roads are you taking?

Driving in a Cat1 or Tropical Storm isn't a big deal if you avoid road flooding and falling trees.

She had one yesterday where she barely spoke and took no questions. I think her attorney threatened to walk after she pulled that restraining order stunt without his consent.

Who gives a frick? It doesn't make you a superior meteorologist, a Nostradamus, or anything we should regard beyond simply some dumbass who throws out wild baseless guesses to sate a desperate need for attention. Here's your attention, now go rub one out in satisfaction.

Why is the NHC still saying it will be a Cat 2 when the latest model intensity guidance seems to be coalescing around a mid-level Cat 1?

Jesus, you people will whine about anything. Considering Louisiana's laughable infrastructure, you should be prepared for Armageddon if even a TS is incoming.

Chicken and rice, add the cheese pouch, hot sauce and crackers and give it a good stir.

Guess I’ll have to start making some preparations here in Biloxi and give my family in Houma/Dulac a call
