I hope this storm remains this ragged all the through landfall. Suck in that dry air on the east and north sides, Francine!

The 4PM update going to likely result in no change.
The 10PM update should pretty much nail this down I hope.

It's basically anything from CAT1 to weak CAT 2 anywhere from Pecan Island to Morgan City. I'm not worried... I'm in Lafayette and will get some of it either way lol

They usually have lines to give them and boxed water that tastes like outdoor middle school water fountain water.

I went thru one for Ida in case I got stuck anywhere or someone else needed them. Ended up eating the good stuff and throwing everything else away

I mean Beryl was a complete nothing burger to Houston by all projections until the last 24 hours before the storm hit and it just kept moving until about 6 hours before impact it settled on the worst path possible for Houston.

I know Francine is projected substantially further east than Beryl at this stage, but you can’t really blame Houstonians for being wary of a storm with this much unpredictability and variation left in its final path given what happened with Beryl

Another one I saw a lot of was people putting the exhaust next to the intake of the window unit.

I seen people durig beryl with the generator in their garage and door cracked open about 4 feet high. Insane to take that kind of risk. I guess they didn't want it to get rained on.

Certainly slight widening in the models. Some probably havent accounted for the new recon data which has some westward push to it

Gasoline tip: Fill your generator's tank up then go fill up the can you used to fill it up with and store it like that. That way you'll have an additional can/tank and won't need to go searching for gas as soon.
