Day by day I hate social media even more.
Good on him if he follows through, but as of that post he hadn’t done a damn thing but type his name into a completely non-committal internet form.
Literally nothing has happened but social media has us all believing that every basic arse thing that we do is newsworthy and laudable.

I think he has some serious mental issues right now. He posts old videos of his playing days on sc and a bunch of cryptic messages about how hard his life had been. He's like the HS QB who can't move past his ACL injury that kept him from reaching the NFL. He occasionally reposts those articles from when he rescued the person in the car accident and he constantly shares a bunch of messages he gets from followers that complement him or tell him they're supporting him. He seems super insecure with himself. I have no idea if he's guilty of what he's been accused of but either way he needs to find a way to move on. This would probably be a good idea. I wonder if his adoptive family is still in his life

I don't know anything about him as a football player. I remember the name, but not him.
I encourage him and anyone else to consider a military enlistment. I ended up staying in for over 20, but I still think those first four years with the friendships and craziness were the most exciting and fun times out of the whole 20 plus.
ETA--I just looked up who he uses. Yeah, it's going to be hard as heck for him to get in. Would probably need a General, if he were even eligible. /Admiral level moral waiver to enlist

Maybe a little sympathy for a guy who knew and was very good at one thing and one thing only, which was then, by his own action, taken from him. It's all he knew.
We all make mistakes. Show some grace. It looks like he is trying to get something consistent in his life to perhaps help him focus on the future.
