Thank you. I'm honestly surprised that more people haven't seen the studies that came out and were reported on in December and March. The main study was done by the NIH and they reported on it on their website, nature.com, and a few other mainstream sites picked it up.

I got an antibody test because I thought I had experienced some symptoms of covid and I also read that you should only get the shot 90 days after experiencing covid symptoms. I was negative and got the pfizer shot

Questions for those medically smarter than me: Is it possible to have immunity without actively having anti-bodies? Does you body somehow just have memory of how to fight off this particular virus.

I feel like it's gotta be possible with how little we hear about reinfection. Personally had COVID about a year ago...havent had an anti-body test...but did just go on vacation for about 2 weeks.... All in hot spots (Arkansas and Florida) and a few a nights of JAM PACKED bars in Nashville...didn't catch shite. Maybe I still have antibodies....maybe immune systems just remember what to do once the encounter a familiar protein.

Antibodies won’t prevent you from
Catching it - neither will the vaccine. I had the vaccine.

Yep, a lot of the anti-vaxxers eat quarter pounders, smoke cigarettes, dip snuff, eat ding dongs, take high blood pressure medication or cholesterol medication. But now, they have to know 100% what they are putting into their bodies.

Did you first get an antibody test?

My focking mom is nagging me to get vaxxed, but I'm not doing it if I have antibodies. Getting antibody tested tomorrow.

I caught COVID-19 in March 2020. My company has an in-house antibody testing program, and my antibodies were tested every month. The month I got my first shot, my antibody count had dropped to "equivalent". After my 2nd shot, it was up by a factor of 10.

In our program, most people dropped to "equivalent" approximately 3.5 months post infection. It was 12 months for me...but I was an outlier.

Yep...some have a myeloid response, and T-cells aren't produced, making them more susceptible to reinfection.

I think it’s time to review who you’re friends with on FB.
