re: For those here that have followed Nick Tullier’s recovery, did you see the post yesterday?

I guess my main question is what purpose does it serve to put Danielle out there like this? Why does the thousands of followers need to know she is moving forward with her life? Something about the post made me feel terrible for her because of how this is being aired out in front of literally thousands of people.
It's definitely fair to ask why that info/post has to be put out there, but reading it, it seemed overwhelmingly in support of the girlfriend, definitely felt their intentions were good/pure. And it really portrayed Danielle in a positive light.

Seems like they got ahead of any rumors and basically said everyone came to an agreement that Danielle should move on and live her life and not be tied down to Nick anymore. Sounds better than letting rumors swirl about her being a bad person and leaving Nick when he needs her

Why would the news post about a breakup. Why would the parents even? Seems like it’s just trying to make her look bad.

I find it interesting when people second-guess how other people deal with extremely difficult situations. I have no idea how I would handle my son/SO/daughter etc being involved in such a painful situation. So I'd rather not speculate if I would post about it publicly or what the hell I'd say if I did.
Her post addressed the constant effort required to care for this man, expenses, the physical/mental cost to their family, and to Nick's life, as well the difficulty it caused him and his SO. And, how they were doing their best to accept every little painful aspect of it all.
She(?) wrapped it up by placing the blame on who and what caused it.
It was very revealing, and I'd love for those who stirred that pot to the boiling point to read it at least twice.

Progressive Racial Agitprop has it's costs. Very sad for all involved.
And the disgusting fricks haven’t learned. They don’t care. Blood on their hands for their precious cause.

I do not fault her. They are not married. She isn't breaking a vow. I have a close friend who was severely wounded in Iraq. I was right there beside him when it happened. He had a girlfriend at the time. He is in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. They were later married and have been for over over 10 years now. She signed up for it knowing what life would be with him and his limitations. This young lady was there for him when he needed her but she deserves to be able to live her life. Some would stay, but she can make her own decisions.

Any estimate on how much longer his recovery could take?

I mean the family through the news reporter did just post a Happy Valentines message with her and him in a picture together. The reporter posted another story the day after that also featured her, so after an absence of her being in posts I think it stirred up stuff. Unless she had been milking situation after she moved out I think this may help her more than the parents. People who have been following this very tragic and public story (and also possibly helping) can know that no one is negative about her choice, and also that she is still involved with helping but just in different way.

I don't know this story at all, but reading that, I feel like the parents are trying to protect her a bit from any repercussions from people who think she is abandoning him.
Which she is, but I guess they weren't married, and it's a terrible situation to be a young person and have to deal with.
I can't picture in my own mind, being in the same situation, that I would be able to leave something that I loved before an accident, but no question, isn't not that simple.
