We use a mix of shopping in person and online and I have found that often times the price of items online are more expensive than in store now.

So many people have been conditioned to think online pricing is always cheaper. I guess if you're too lazy to get up and go outside very once in a while you should assume you're going to pay more than you need to...but you know...convenience.

This 100% depends on the specific item you are shopping for.

I can have things delivered straight to me from damn near any store these days. Screw going out and dealing with the peasants.

And screw you for the unnecessarily shitty tone of your post

Ordering online is more convenient in the majority of cases I would say.

Shipping is like a million dollars now and is unreliable

I guess Amazon saw how broken the shipping system is in this country and started their own network but I’m not sure how everybody else does it

It’s about convenience.

I’d rather pay 10% more than make a dedicated trip.

I gotta better shite to do

Stores stock less inventory now too. Couldn't even find a red Swingline stapler at Office Depot the other day.

Want to make my wife mad? Come into our store, have your kid try on a $200+ outfit, ask questions of the staff, get recommendations, and then proclaim that you will find it online for 10% less than what we are selling it for.

Happens all the time. Truly hate these people.

Main issue with shopping in person these days is they never have your size, style or product in stock for whatever reason. It’s like every store has become crap over flow

People are paying for their convenience of not having to leave their house, how is this anything new?

Pizza delivery services have been using this business model for decades
