AC can’t be that expensive to fix in a Civic?
$500 but there are no parts available right now.

Replacing the compressor is a relatively easy DIY job on that year. I've done it before. Just make sure you get it vacuumed before adding refrigerant

2011 Tundra Platinum - 80k - still looks great - no problems - I'll probably keep it for another 10 years.

a 2011 murano.

im 40 years old. up until 2 years ago i drove the same car from high school. i got rid of it because the 2011 murano came to me free.

i dont give a shite what my car looks like, drives like, or does as long as it hauls what i need to and gets me to point b from point a.

Needs the cat replaced, new cat is in the garage just too lazy to bring it to a muffler shop and have it put in.

Edit: 2nd owner, bought it in 1997 with 923 miles.

Don't see the point in wasting money on a new daily driver that still reliably gets me from A to B, has everything I need, everything works and the interior is still pristine because I am not a slob. Plus as a bonus it seems to piss off my neighbors because they don't think it's a "fitting vehicle" for our neighborhood.

I'm gonna give it to my kids. I don't care about a new truck, I do care about a legacy.

What I drive has just become less important to me as I've gotten older. A vehicle is basically a tool to me now.

I'd rather save the money and hopefully retire younger. Maybe if I was worth 10 million I wouldn't care about paying it but I'm not.

2008 Chevy 2500 with a Duramax. Has 223K on it. I've replaced the passenger side front wheel hub and put rear brakes on it. Nothing else.

Hauls me around, tows my tractor, four wheelers, and a 5th wheel where I need it to go.

Hoping to get as many miles as possible on it. It's been a good one.

ETA: I do not have truck nuts on it, although I've been seriously contemplating installing Ranch Hand replacement front and rear bumpers on it.

Damn bro. You traveling across the country regularly?

Commute across the causeway and then drive throughout day for work. It’s held up well. Recently had to do some work on oil leak and alternator but before then not really much. Hoping to get another couple years

2006 G35 with 95K miles.
Have only had to replace radiator, spark plugs, belts, brakes, tires, sensors, etc.
All work DIY (except tires) with a little youtube help.

I can afford a new car but I love the way this one rides. I get nervous ever taking it out of town, though, so I'll probably replace my wife's POS with a new ride and use that for out of town trips.
