Message boards tend to be tighter communities and are policed a lot better than FB and such. Idiots and weirdos are usually singled out pretty quickly. You would never see a post like that on TG - for one it would get deleted in about a minute by an admin and during the 1 minute it survived everyone would pile on the idiot.

Serious question, how does this scenario play out in reality?
Significant jail time?
Lose right to own a gun?
Mandatory treatment?
Restraining order prohibiting him to enter school property?
Probation?
Released with no follow up?
Forgotten and makes good on threat?
Just trying to get my head around how many of these types of threats are out there and how they are handled? Can anything be done to stop them?
