You can use this map to determine how many Flock cameras are tracking you on a daily basis.

11 for me one way to work. I don’t like this one bit. I knew this was trouble when I learned these cameras were donated to my local government for no charge.
I wonder who paid for this??? My guess is my federal tax dollars paid for this “security”.

Whats the difference between the flock camera tracking you and your cell signal providing your track?

Los Angeles has thousands, but hardly any in Compton.
Seems odd…

1 camera in Marksville and 1 in Bunkie. That's all for a 50 mile radius. I never go to Bunkie.

They used one in my hometown in MO to catch a dude from Texas for child abduction and murder. That’s all I’ve got.

I can choose to bring my phone with me, or leave it at home.
Or not have a phone at all.

They can track your cell phone with GPS, Wireless Signal Triangulation, and with what Wifi Router it's pinging off of.
They can track your car with on board GPS (onstar), Flock Cameras, Traffic Cameras.
Military and government can use satellites.
Now they can track you based on your heartbeat signals. (How they found that pilot shot down in Iran)
They can see where you are in your house by tracking all the surfaces your wifi signal bounces off of. They don't need a cell phone or anything, they can see your "shadow" moving around. No wifi sinal? No problem, they can put one on your house for you.
Unless these people want to hand these people money, or offer to help I sure wish they would leave the average guy the frick alone.

No wonder they made a move to QR code inspection stickers. And this flock camera shite is just another leg in the heightened surveillance state, which we are already in. I mean they can track everything about you easily if they wanted to, from IPs to Phone data, etc etc. Sad.

Pick your poison.
We have used these to break open countless criminal cases that have led to the identity, apprehension, and conviction of countless violent criminals. Robbers, rapist, murderers, child predators, the list is endless.
No one cares about you or your vehicles location if you are not the target.
But I get it, muh privacy. Unless you decide to cut a little fat off the United States Constitution, we need every public advantage and resource we can get.
Your move.

I will say that's a pretty cool interactive map.

Flock has recently expanded into other technologies, including advanced cameras that monitor more than just vehicles.
Most concerning are the latest Flock drones equipped with high-powered cameras. Flock's "Drone as First Responder" platform automates drone operations, including launching them in response to 911 calls or gunfire.
Flock's drones, which reach speeds up to 60 mph, can follow vehicles or people and provide information to law enforcement.

Maybe they can contract with OUST. My shares need a boost.

I'd feel better if i knew they were being used to assist in mass deportations.

Sadly, I’m pretty sure that map barely scratches the surface, and that there are far more cameras out there than what’s shown. Scary because it doesn’t include the huge network of traffic cameras that states and cities run—red-light cams, interstate bridge cams, other highway feeds, all of it. Here, ALDOT alone has hundreds.
One of my best friends also runs traffic accident reconstruction and fatality investigations for a major police department here in Alabama. They recently had a newsworthy hit-and-run homicide, and several of the flocks cameras they used to track down the perp aren’t even listed on that map. Whatever’s published publicly is unfortunately nowhere near the full picture.
