Yeah, get up in the mountains and Dollywood is great

Just like Branson. I love the area and the lake but walking the strip with all the blue hairs and white trash fighting over if they’re going to see the Titanic exhibit or the illusion museum

Just kick me in the nuts

Now a cabin in the national park just to chill sounds nice.

That’s what I did 80% of the time we were there. The women went to the antique places and shite and made my beer runs for me I sat on the back porch looking at the scenery, wildlife, watched the World Cup and drank beer.

Also if you plan on grilling bring a cooler stocked before you leave. The grocery stores in Pigeon Forge are highway robbery (Publix and Kroger). Paid a $100 for 4 medium sized ribeyes.

How much longer do we have of travel sports? Seems like people are catching on that it’s not good for families.

That’s probably the team from Canada. There’s always 1. They are not there to win. They are there to go to Paula Dean’s, see a wax version of Dolly Parton and celebrate Canadian Braxton’s summer birthday at a dinner show with horses.

Rowdy folk.

I was on a college campus yesterday and walked by a tournament of 13yos. The parents all look the same, dad used to play and dreams of Braxton in MLB, heavy set Mom who liked girls in college, all swaying in summer heat trying to find a blade of shade and, depending on their work schedule, may or may not be pulling for Braxton’s team to win so they can get home at a decent hour for Monday work.

I kid but kinda.

I’m here for work. Putting in a concrete plant down the road. Seems there’s a travel ball tourney here this week. My hotel backs up to another hotel and both of the pools back up to each other. My room overlooks this, of course.

It was fricking Lord of the Flies out there until about midnight. Wish I had those little duckers’ room numbers and I woulda gotten them up at 4AM with me.

yea ripken experience is there....pretty much every week is like that there

Was there the week after the 4th. We stayed in a house up in the mountains in Weir(sp) Valley. Loved it up there, the views were great and some yearling bear cubs came around every morning. Going into town did suck. Pigeon Forge wasn’t too bad traffic wise

We were also there the week after the 4th. Stayed in a house off of Wears and Easy St. Traffic wasn't bad, except thursday night when the stop light was out on the main street. Made the drive back from Dollywood pure hell.

Thought Pigeon Forge attraction was where whites vacation? What’s the attraction then?
