I don’t remember this shite when I was younger…. It seems to be a weekend thing now for any beach community it’s pretty annoying… also I think it makes me old now

I am in my late 40s...grew up in BTR.....I asked my parents a few years ago if fireworks were shot on Christmas Eve when I was a kid (because I didn't remember)....they both said "oh yes, absolutely they were"

There were some dumbasses 10 days ago popping fireworks two streets down from us at 11 pm. I drove by to see where it was coming from and there were like 30 people in front of a trailer. I don't know what the occasion was but sure called the cops on them.

Why? If the fireworks stand is open you can bet your arse someone is buying otherwise they wouldn't open 2 weeks early. It's not against the law to pop fireworks. It's against the law to pop them in certain areas. If it's a legal area, I say make it sound like WW3. After all this is America.

Bonfires on the Levee was moved to 12/23 instead of 12/24 this year (correctly forecast rain) Fireworks rivaled Foirth of July….Fun on Mississippi levee, bonfires for miles, fireworks overhead.
