Yeah this is ridiculously stupid. Theyre gonna wake up all the sleeping kids on Christmas Eve with their stupid arse fireworks over there.

The street over from us a Latin family was setting off fireworks. At midnight.
Saw a big post in our neighborhood group and apparently the neighbor had to confront them because they were setting off mortar-sized ones and woke up their little kids.
I’m pretty sure someone met at Sonic the way the convo went afterward. Some lady started calling folks racists for not respecting “Latin American culture” of opening presents at midnight and setting off fireworks. And she rightfully got an ear full.

There’s a Spanish family that lives directly across the street from me. They have probably 50 people under their patio right now making all kind of noise along with the fireworks. Every year they go all out for Christmas Eve.
Tonight is one of the few nights I allow the kids to make a pallet on the floor in our bedroom to sleep so any sound is covered by the sound of the fan I sleep with.

The laws of classical mechanics do not apply on holidays. You may fire when ready.

We did fireworks so Santa could find our house out in the woods.

It's not against the law to pop fireworks
On December 14th? What occasion is that? Also, it is against the law if it's past 10pm if it isn't a holiday.

I think this year’s firecracker spectacular may have marked the end of my family’s Christmas tradition, as there was a mishap and a minor was injured.
He’s gonna be okay, but it was scary stuff as it unfolded.
