Things bloomed early this year despite the late freeze, but I was hoping that those bastards wouldn't start early. Mother's Day has always been the standard.

My kid’s flag football practice was called early because they had invaded the field. That was a pain in the arse.

Is this a southeast la thing? Don’t think I’ve noticed swarming termites in Lafayette before.

In Metairie (Bucktown) I saw one tonight on my patio.. It rained today and they usually swarm that night... With the hurricanes the last two years the neighborhood lost a lot of trees... Possibly infested w/ termites. It has been light swarms the last few years compared to years before...

I don’t know if it’s specific to sela but last night they descended from the heavens and rained down fury on us at the field. It was terrible, everyone was covered in them and a few kids had accidentally swallowed some while running.

My bug zapper starting going off like fireworks last night around 8:30 which is unusual. Turned it off as well as all outside and some inside lights. This morning the birds were having a feast.

It is now. Last night they were out. I was thinking it’s kind of early, but there they were.

At dusk, there were about ten different species of birds feasting on these little bastards in our back yard last night. It was one of the first times I had seen so many species in such a close proximity.
