Zero flavor whatsoever compared to other cuts and not worth the price

Leave it to the OT to care about what meat a man puts in his mouth

You’re definitely a ribeye guy.

Nah. It's the best cut IMO.

IMO

Great ribeye > Great filet

Mediocre filet >>> Mediocre ribeye

I agree with this. But a filet can definitely be done right, although I’d go with a Châteaubriand at that point

ETA m: brain fart.

I prefer a ribeye but a FM has its place. Sometimes I want a leaner cut

A ribeye is my ground and pound running back.

I know what to expect and I enjoy the overall experience

A filet mignon is like having college Reggie bush on your plate. The sky is the limit.

Edit: How the frick do you simpletons downvote this?

You gotta get it well done, butterflied, and dip it in some ketchup.

You must overcook it. I get it seasoned and seared, rare plus. shite is like melted butter with some good steak seasoning on the crust.

However, get yourself a ribeye if you looking for more flavor and less tender.

Good thing about steak….is there is a cut that can pretty much please everyone.

Stop being a bitch about a filet. They are the best in a lot of peoples opinion
