Yeah it’s fricked up no matter the gender.
I always thought it was weird when seniors in high school would go after freshmen girls. Most freshmen haven’t fully gone through puberty but they were easy targets. That’s predatory behavior.

The situation IN THE OP doesn’t bother me much. It’s not a huge gap, she must have just barely turned 19 judging from info provided, it wasn’t rapey but more relationship, she was in no position of authority over him…
… of course there’s what ifs that would change my point of view- but not my opinion on THIS story.

I was always inclined towards the usual high five jokes, but I have a 12 year old in braces now and if some fricked up 4 seduced him I'd have infinite backhands for her.

Statutory rape laws need to be abolished. Cases like this should not even be prosecuted. No guy is turning her down and a girl that size can’t force a guy, who has the ability to sinply walk away, from having sex with her.
It’s just stupid. Re-write these laws. Nobody is being protected here. If you consent, you consent.
If a 14 year old can legally get an abortion, they can legally consent to the act that got them in that predicament in the first place.
It’s doubly true it the gender roles are switched with the girl being older.

A normal, well-adjusted adult would come to the conclusion that since 14 year olds obviously lack the mental capacity to consent to sex, then they definitely cannot consent to a medical procedure such as abortion and thus it should be illegal to provide them one.
A warped and perverted adult would come to the conclusion that since it’s legal for 14 year olds to get an abortion then it should be legal for them to have sex with whomever they want, including adults.
You’ve made it clear you fall into the later category. There is something very wrong with you.

I agree abortions should be illegal for someone that age. However, you can’t legally have the right to kill a baby or change your gender or any other UNNATURAL thing….yet at the same time claim you can’t have the rights to consent to sex which is natural for anyone over puberty. It’s human nature and been like that for I dunno 5,000 years till nanny state ism took over in the last century.
To me, changing your gender and or killing a fetus is alot bigger decision than deciding to have sex with whoever you want.

5 years at that stage is a lot but every HS has senior / freshman connections.
Some of the popular senior girls at mine got mad at the senior boys and were hooking up with freshman boys and it was the most amazing learning event for a small group of boys, but that was 18-14/15.

Because we live in a goofy timeline where we have to pretend that “things are the same”.
Yes, legally she committed statutory rape but ffs. The law is there to prevent minors from being coerced into sex, but we’re supposed to believe that she’s “the same” as a creepy 35 yo teacher, or she’s “the same” as a 19 yo male having sex with a 13 yo girl.
Setting aside all the “hur dur she’s an OT2” jokes, no heterosexual 13 yo male would need to be coerced into having sex with this chick, and she looks like she’s 115 soak and wet, so I’m not even sure she could if she tried.
I’m sorry but “older teenage girl having sex with younger teenage boy”, while not smart, isn’t a problem that the criminal justice system needs to solve.
