yep, this was pretty common at my high school, and just about everywhere else, I'm 10 years older than my wife, we met at her kindergarten graduation ball

I get that.
But there is a world of difference between being held down and forcibly, violently acted upon vs inappropriate yet agreed upon sex.
The verbiage should both reflect that difference as well as not dilute the absolute soul crushing experience that a real rape results in.

The summer before my Freshman year at HS I was used and abused (loved every minute of it) by a young lady who was going into her Senior year. She was admittedly not the best looking and probably not that experienced in retrospect. She used me as a learning tool and I would thank her today if I could find her.
Poor JB thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend though. I walked up to her in the hallway the first day of school and said Hi in front of her friends. The look of shock and Oh shite on her face told me all I needed to know. Didn't really ever speak to her again after that.
But I don't see this being that big of a deal if it's what it appears to be.

depends on what the 14 y/o is consenting to, though. can't consent to take a ride(s) on horny 19 y/o but CAN consent to do a lot of other permanent, life altering things. make it make sense.

When you use the term "consensual", I believe the law says a person under the age of X cannot provide consent. X is usually 18, but not always.
