I don't know how the interrogation officer kept questioning her with a straight face once his colleges had to leave the room.

We’ve been living in Houston for 16 years and my wife still doesn’t know the basic layout and geography of the city. If not for smart phones she’d be lost 4 times a week.
You know the rules and so do I…

Gonna need pics of this person to ascertain whether they are worth the effort.

TIA

To be fair, Connecticut's politics are most similar to the UK's these days

Most women aren't good at judging distance because they have been lied too for years about what 8 inches are

I legit dated a girl who got an online degree from Kaplan University because she literally thought it was in Kaplan, Louisiana. Special.

Had some friends travel to Morocco to visit some extended family (by marriage) that lived in a little village. They show up and the relatives asked them if they drove from America. Buddy said no that they flew there.

In college I had a roommate who took the summer off to go see his mom in Alaska. He drove. Took him weeks to get there. Anyway, hanging out with out with one of our neighbors, they ask where he was and I told them he drove to Alaska. The guy, not the brightest bulb in the pack, told me there was no way he drove there. Said he had to have flown. Was adamant about it. To the point he bet me $20. I said OK, how do we settle this then. He goes and pulls out an almanac, flips around some pages, and ultimately throws down a pic of the continental US. I then flipped to the page of North America. But I guess at least he did remember something from school, right? I didn't have the heart to take his $20.

I was stationed in Germany during 9/11. We had a guy who was home on leave in Ohio when it happened. He called our boss to let him know he will be on the first flight back as soon as they allow flights. Our boss told him he needed to rent a car and drive back.

The guy was like "You want me to drive....to Germany".

I assume people at least know what countries are in what continents. And if you don't you can make an educated guess based on the name or something said when someone mentions it, etc, but people are really bad at geography. I used to have a globe when I was a kid. We used to play "where will I live". You spin the globe and put your finger on it while it spins, where it lands is where you will move to and live.

I learned US geography from college football to some degree. This conference has teams from this area, etc after while everything starts to connect. How does a grown woman think Connecticut is overseas?

Yep, Army. But I worked with quite a few Air Force guys that weren't too bright either.
