Can't believe these schools are offering her a scholarship. What a waste of a scholarship. Does she even get any playing time now?

Last year, Harris tweeted that she had been offered a scholarship by Bethany College, a Division III team in West Virginia. Adams State University, Graceland University and Kentucky Christian University have also made offers, according to Sports Illustrated.

They're fricking d 3 schools. Not even athletic scholarships and you're melting.

I really don't care if some girl "dreams" of playing in the NFL.

I love how that's glorified as if it were a skillset, if I dared to share the same aspirations out loud as kid it was usually met with some sort of "put the crack pipe down," sort of smartass response

I follow her on IG. I can't be mad at her. She plays D3 ball and loves the game of football. Kudos to her for being able to get on the field. She along with every single one of her teammates all have aspirations of playing in the NFL. Deep down she and everyone else know they have absolutely 0 shot of making it.

If some news people want to run her story, why wouldnt you take it. She's about to get paid. It would almost be stupid not too.

Also, take it from someone who has played D2 ball, she does not stand a chance at even that level. She would get absolutely wrecked. There's a huge difference between D2 and D3. But I do wish her luck in her future aspirations.

Also, won't she be penalized by the NCAA. Would this constitute as profiting off of her likeness. Or since its D3, does the NCAA simply not give a shite.

They can now profit off their appearance. It changed a few years back. There is protections to prevent your local car dealership from making an athlete their "spokesperson", but they can profit off their image, signatures, etc now.

Had a female DL when I coached ball, and she was a tank. As big and strong as the boys and worked twice as hard.

Anyone remember the tv series a few years back about the first MLB woman pitcher? I think it lasted a whole 4 or 5 episodes before it was cancelled. It was heralded as the great sex equalizer and a new chapter in feminism. Nobody watched it, not girls, not boys, nobody. We're not as stupid as they think we are.

What is her 40 time?

How many times can she bench 225 pounds?

even in d3 there are guys who are going to drive her into the ground so hard her concussion is career ending.

Alas. Maybe nuclear engineering.

Holder is probably the only position a woman would stand a chance at playing in college or the NFL.

Or possibly kicker but probably not.

Why not just create a women’s league? I’m glad that women have an interest in football, but facts are facts. No female DB can survive a crack back from an NFL tight end or a power back blasting his way into the secondary. Sorry, not sorry.

I feel she's a dark horse to attain a kicking spot in D3 much less tNFL, even with Goody at the helm.
