East L.A. College Football Player Who Aspires to Become 1st Woman in NFL Stars in Super Bowl Ad
quote:

The defensive back has been integral to ELAC’s success since joining the team in 2017, Head Football Coach Bobby Godinez said in a news release from the school.

Last year, Harris tweeted that she had been offered a scholarship by Bethany College, a Division III team in West Virginia. Adams State University, Graceland University and Kentucky Christian University have also made offers, according to Sports Illustrated.
This is ridiculous. She will get killed playing college ball, and no woman will ever play in the NFL.

Can't believe these schools are offering her a scholarship. What a waste of a scholarship. Does she even get any playing time now?

There are many high schools better than the best D3 team. She is nothing more than a prop.

Having watched my share of cornerbacks try to tackle I'm sure she'll be able to keep up with them.

They're getting their moneys worth on the publicity.

Holder is probably the only position a woman would stand a chance at playing in college or the NFL.

Some girl got a scholarship out of high school to be a kicker for a D-III school. I think a kicker or punter is about the only chance a woman has at making it to the NFL. Even a kicker, I doubt they could consistently hit a 50 yrd field goal.

Good for her

Mo Isom had a cannon of a leg... for a girl. And had a long of 53 yards if I remember right when she was kicking with LSU. A woman will never play in the NFL, outside of a a publicity stunt.

She will get her head ripped off a few times and look stupid.

Of course, this will offer ammo to the SJWs about the NFL being toxic masculinity which could be fun in its own right

I remember she tried out for the football team for her last year of eligibility. She didn't get far. If she or anyone could be consistent from 50, maybe a team would take a flyer on her, but it's hard to not want a guy that can also kick a 60 yarder just to say you hired the first female in the NFL.

I can imagine some of the walk-ons at the schools that offered her scholarships are pretty pissed at this publicity stunt. I'm sure there are countless other kids more worthy of a scholarship than her.
